How We Make Yeast

The chart below shows the general White Labs practices for making yeast with the FlexCell™ system. The system incorporates long-standing practices at White Labs -- such as thorough testing at every phase, custom ordering and stringent quality control standards -- with new technologies, specifically the process of making and shipping the yeast in the same package. The entire process takes 17 days per batch, for testing and yeast growth, although most strains are available for immediate shipping because fresh yeast clears QC every day at White Labs.
