WLP561 Non STA1son Ale Yeast

This blend of STA1 negative strains produces a complex expression of esters and phenols great for saison and farmhouse-style beers without the potential for super-attenuation commonly associated with many Belgian-style strains.

WLP6420 Acid Tripp

For the first time, Tripping Animals Brewing in Doral, FL is giving you access to one of their hottest house strains! We’re so excited to partner with our passionate and creative friends at Tripping Animals to bring you WLP6420 Acid Tripp, the ultimate blend of organisms perfect for your next kettle sour.

This proprietary house blend is used in all of Tripping Animals’ renowned sour ales, and is now available to you!

This culture is unlike any other and offers an extraordinarily complex flavor profile resulting in balanced acidity with moderate tropical and pomme fruit aromas. This complexity allows for a range of flavor profiles that can be achieved depending on how it is blended with other yeasts or added to different beer styles.

Optimum fermentation temperature range is between 40-43℃/105-110℉ and typically sours the wort within 12-24 hours.

WLP835 German X Lager Yeast

Classic yeast from a famous Bavarian monastery. This strain develops a creamy, malty beer profile with low sulfur production and low esters. It is a great choice for styles like traditional helles, Oktoberfest, bock, and dunkel.

WLP515 Antwerp Ale Yeast

Clean, almost lager-like Belgian type ale yeast. Good for Belgian type pale ales and amber ales, or with blends to combine with other Belgian type yeast strains. Biscuit, ale-like aroma present. Hop flavors and bitterness are accentuated. Slight sulfur will be produced during fermentation, which can give the yeast a lager-like flavor profile.

WLP631 Appalachian Tart

This specialty blend of Kveik yeast and Lactobacillus sp. has been designed to create a unique co-ferment of yeast and bacteria, resulting in a mildly fruity and tart beer. Fermenting with both yeast and bacteria at the same time provides a faster and cleaner souring profile.

WLP4684 The Yeast Bay Sour Blend

TYB House Sour Blend is a complex culture developed over 10+ years of isolation work. Each lot consists largely of rotating base strains along with new isolates of Saccharomyces, Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus, Pediococcus, and other wild yeasts.

Contains STA1+ components.

July - September 2024

WLP026 Premium Bitter Ale Yeast

From Staffordshire, England. Fermentation gives a mild but complex ester character. Ferments strong and dry and is good for high gravity beers. Best for all English-style ales, including bitters, milds, ESBs, porters, stouts and barleywines.

WLP616 Funky Cider Yeast Blend

This is a blend of two Saccharomyces strains combined with some Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus. This blend results in a slight tartness and a mild funk aroma that will result in less than two weeks. Light pellicle will form because of the Brettanomyces.

WLP815 Belgian Lager Yeast

A clean, crisp European lager yeast with low sulfur production. This strain originates from a very old brewery in west Belgium. Great for European-style pilsners, dark lagers, Vienna lagers, and American-style lagers.

October - December 2024

WLP009 Australian Ale Yeast

This yeast produces a clean, malty beer with pleasant ester characters that can be described as “bready.” It ferments successfully and cleanly at higher temperatures, combined with good flocculation and good attenuation.

WLP4001 The Yeast Bay Flanders Specialty

Flanders Specialty Ale is a single strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae isolated from a fascinating Belgian producer of a wide array of traditional Belgian beer styles. This is a versatile yeast that will ferment fairly dry and produce a balanced flavor and aroma profile laced with a myriad of esters and phenols.

WLP845 Fast Lager Yeast
Use this strain when you need a lager sooner rather than later. Low sulfur production and medium flocculation characteristics. WLP845 Fast Lager yeast was used in collab with San Diego Beer News’ Homebrew Summer and Homebrewer Matthew Smiley to scale his Czech Pils recipe to our system.
