S.M.A.S.H. Pale Ale

About this Recipe:

A great way of identifying individual hop and malt flavor is by brewing a S.M.A.S.H or single malt, single hop beer. For this S.M.A.S.H pale ale, we’ve chosen Maris Otter for our base malt and Nelson Sauvin for our hopping. We suggest using WLP007 Dry English Ale Yeast to produce a dry, hop-forward beer with a touch of malt character to stay accurate to the pale ale style, but many clean American or English strains work as well.
