Yeast is often the most misunderstood brewing ingredient. Understanding fermentation conditions and strain performance will be the difference between not-so-great beer and beer that all your friends are clamoring for. This webcast will explore yeast strain selection, easy resolution and prevention for common off flavors and optimal yeast pitch rates for home fermentations.

- Off-flavors: what to look for and how to avoid common faults

This class is taught by White Labs Education & Engagement Curator, Erik Fowler. Erik has more than eight years experience in beer and wine sales, service and education and holds his Cicerone Certification® as well as a certificate in the Business of Craft Beer from San Diego State University.
